Eberhard grew up in Paarl, spent his childhood years in the Boland and matriculated as head boy of Stellenbosch High School in 1997. After finishing his B. Comm (Law) degree in 2001 and his LLB degree in 2003, at the University of Stellenbosch, he attended the School for Legal Practice at the University of Cape Town. He also trained at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP Solicitors in the UK, and thereafter joined VGV Attorneys in 2004.
He was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer in 2005, and in 2006 obtained his qualification as a Notary Public. He was appointed as a director of VGV in 2007, and practiced at their Tygervalley branch. In 2014 he obtained the qualification as a Master Practitioner of Real Estate.
Eberhard has a vast experience in property transfers, structured financing and all related conveyancing matters. He has a wide range of expertise with regard to different kinds of property developments, therefore providing expert advice to his developer clients and even attending to some of his own developments. He also runs a very successful commercial and estate planning practice. In addition hereto he provides a wide range of services to estate agents and also acts as principal for a various number of estate agencies.
His interests include golf, cricket, traveling, socializing with friends & family and collecting lapel badges.
